Made by Abhishek Jain (RJ, Radio Mirchi, Ahmedabad when he was at Whistling Woods) this film has been screened at Shamiana as well as the Ahmedabad International Film Festival. (I don’t remember the name of the writer quoted by Abhishek when this film was screened at Shamiana. All i remember is that she belongs to a small town of Madhaya Pradesh). Please ignore the sound and lighting issues.

My favourites in stop motion genre

Stop motion is the creative art of making interesting videos out of still pictures. These are some of my favorites. Though these videos may look simple, it really takes a lot of effort to plan each scene and execute it.

1. Olympus Pen camera advert video. They shot 60.000 pictures, developed 9.600 prints and shot over 1.800 pictures again to make this video. This was inspired by wolf and pig video.

2. Her Morning Elegance music video was made of exactly 2096 still photographs, shot and sequenced to create the sense of movement using stop motion technique.

3. The third one used a lot of post-it stickers to create this cool video. Short and sweet.
